# Cerrar un puerto en Windows

> Cómo identificar el proceso que ocupa un puerto en Windows con netstat y terminarlo desde PowerShell o CMD usando taskkill.

Cuando un puerto queda ocupado (por ejemplo el `3000` de un servidor Node), estos comandos identifican el proceso que lo retiene y lo terminan.

## Identificar el PID que usa el puerto

```powershell PowerShell theme={null}
netstat -ano | findstr :3000
```

La última columna es el **PID** del proceso.

## Terminar el proceso

```powershell PowerShell theme={null}
taskkill /PID <PID> /F
```

El flag `/F` fuerza el cierre.

## En una sola línea

```powershell PowerShell theme={null}
Get-Process -Id (Get-NetTCPConnection -LocalPort 3000).OwningProcess | Stop-Process -Force
```
